Area Neighbourhood Watch meetings are listed in the village calendar on the events page.
If a member of public has any information that could be helpful to the police that is not of an emergency, please telephone 02476 483622/23.
Could all Neighbourhood Watch members be sure to update their details for the database and if possible ask for messaging to be sent via email- it would help to reduce the £16,000 telephone bill!!
Could villagers also consider how safely they are parking their vehicles, are they restricting vision of other drivers, or preventing pedestrians/disabled negotiating the pavements.
An Open Day & AGM will be held on 10th September between 10am and 4pm @ Tythe Barn, Polesworth by kind permission of the Polesworth Parish Council.
"Car anti-tamper screws are still available FREE, just complete the application form and contact Tony Hardman whose telephone number is 01827873774"
" if neighbourhood members are NOT receiving messages by email and are able to do so could they forward details to Beryl Grix (01827 830363 or email bbgrix@btinternet.com) this will ensure continuity of messaging and will assist in the savings of a greatly reduced telephone funding budget. The Atherstone Police station is to be closed as a result of huge cutbacks in the policing budget and a new contact office for the general public to seek assistance will be sited in the North Warwichshire Borough Council Office, hours Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00pm."
