The Austrey Parish Council meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm in the Village Hall.
Members of the public are warmly invited to attend any of our meetings. Many local issues are discussed and action, where necessary, is taken in consultation with the village residents. For further information about what the Parish Council does, please see the 'Precepts & Misconceptions' page.

Emma FishEmma has lived in Austrey since 2005, falling in love with its quiet rural environment and with the overwhelming friendliness and generosity of the villagers. Her husband David has lived here much longer and even has an Austrey ancestor dating back to the first census in 1841! David and Emma were married at St Nicholas in 2007 and now run two successful businesses from their home. Home-working allows Emma to juggle part-time work with caring for Joseph, their son, who was born in 2009 and attends Austrey Pre-School. Emma believes in safeguarding and improving the quality of village life, listening to residents, understanding local needs and encouraging people to take an active part in the community.
