Mobile Library:

Calls every 3rd week on a Wednesday at 10.35am at Newton Regis Lane for 15 minutes, then at the lay-by on Main Road 11.05am  for 30 minutes, and finally at the Bird in Hand for 20 minutes at 11.40am.
You will be greeted by a knowledgeable, friendly member of staff who is able to offer not only a range of books - fictional and non-fictional, large print, also children’s books, easy -to -use public computers offering quick access to a range of useful sites covering local government and community information.  You can place orders for specific books, videos, DVDs or music  too.

Shuttle service to Measham Medical Unit for over 55s

A generous donation in memory of a past patient of Measham has resulted in a minibus being made available to collect patients from outlying villages in order to attend appointments.  Austrey is allotted a Thursday slot and if anyone over the age of 55 years wishes to use this service they need to mention to the receptionist when booking  their appointment and the receptionist will then  tell them of next available appointment.  The driver Tim would telephone about 5mins before calling to collect you and would return to Austrey when all Austrey people had completed their appointments be it with doctor/chiropodist/health visitor/phlebotomist/etc.

Appointments can be made by calling  in at Dordon or Polesworth surgery or via the telephone (appointment line number 01827 330267). All clinics are by appointment only.
